How Long Can We Live, Anyway?
In the Bible, the longest living person was Methusala, whose name meant "Man of the Spear." This warrior lived for 969 years.
Noah of flood fame lived 950 years. The flood occurred when Noah was a mere middle aged man of 600--some 100 years after procreating his sons around age 500 without any Viagra.
But God, disgusted with human conduct, cut maximum human life span way back to 120, saying in Genesis 6:3, "yet his (man's) days shall be 120 years."
Abraham, regarded as Father by three major faiths (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) lived 175 years. At age 75, he left home (without an American Express card) and walked more than 1,000 miles to start a new life and a new nation.
Joshua and Caleb fought in hand to hand combat to capture the "land of milk and honey" when both men were in their eighties.
Neither was in a nursing home or retired, rocking mindlessly on his front porch, talking about the good old days in Egyptian bondage and wandering in the wilderness.
Now modern scientists claim that maximum possible human life span is 120, based upon the maximum number of times cells can reproduce in our bodies.
So, at least for once, scientists agree with God and His Word--120 it is. Why, Then, Do Most People
Check Out In Their Seventies--Or Before?
First, we do not prevent or repair cumulative cellular damage caused by free radicals during our lifetimes. Free radicals come from improper diet, failure to exercise, excessive stress, and negative environmental factors.
However, we have the power to prevent and repair almost all of this free radical damage by lifestyle changes. We must realize that the onset of degenerative diseases is not a sign that we're just growing old; rather, it's a manifestation of free radical damage which, in turn, speeds up the aging of our bodies.
Second, aging is accelerated by the drop in the levels of most body hormones. However, this again is something we can control by finding out which hormones are deficient in our bodies, to what extent, and replacing them with a customized prescription of natural hormones.

About Anti-Aging
Over
I began studying anti-aging in 1968, when I was 35. My first experience was at the Renaissance, one of the earliest anti-aging clinics, located in Nassau, Bahamas, on Cable Beach. It was the dream of Ivan Popov, former physician to King Peter II of Yugoslavia. Next I went to Dr. Paul Niehans
rejuvenation clinic, LaPrarie, in Switzerland for study.
It is unfortunate that the popular culture has drummed into our heads that, once we turn 40, it is all down hill.
You see, our later years need NOT be a time of prolonged suffering and decrepitude. We can grow old, a lot older than commonly believed, and remain healthy and vital until the end. Prime examples today are lively octogenarians Jack LaLanne and John Glenn.
Today, we are offered the key to continuous good health. Whether or not we choose to use the key is for each of us to decide. It does, of course, require some effort, some discipline, and some changes in lifestyle. In other words, living better longer.
Anti-aging medicine is no longer considered Voodoo. This field has gained substantial scientific respectability for slowing--even reversing--
the aging process. Is Anti-Aging Just For Old People?
Cumulative cell damage, a big cause of aging, starts early. This damage, after age 30, accelerates aging. You are advised, therefore, to control this damage so you can slow down the aging process, beginning in your early thirties.
Therefore, the sooner you begin with an anti-aging program, the better the results. Of course, you can experience anti-aging results, starting at any age.
You are never too old to start. If you are in good health now, there is no reason why you cannot attain maximum possible lifespan.
There are numerous tests to determine one's BIOLOGICAL age (how old you really are). CHRONOLOGICAL age is only a meaningless number--the number of years you have been alive.
A prematurely old person may have just celebrated his 45 birthday, but has the body of a 60 year old.
Just the opposite is possible. You maybe a 75 year old who runs marathons with the body of a 55 year old.
Once your biological age has been determined, a program can be designed to shore up weakened areas and bring your body into balance.
With the proper anti-aging program, and a patient's compliance with lifestyle modifications, one's biological age can be moved back between 10 to 25 years.
It is very foolish, and it can be very dangerous, to embark on an anti-aging program without first determining where you are now, especially if you are planning to do any hormone replacement--such as DHEA, Pregnenolone, Human Growth Hormone (HGH).
Actually, quite impressive rejuvenation results can be achieved free, although many people do no appreciate or believe in anything that is not expensive.
The first thing is to want--and I mean really want--to be more youthful and believe you can do it. Attitude alone, as well as positive words spoken consistently, as any experienced anti-aging physician knows, can work miracles.
Second, adhere to the basics. Eat a healthy diet, get regular aerobic and strength building exercise, minimize stress, get sufficient rest, take supplements, and keep your body detoxified.
The psychology of middle years is every bit as important as physiology and cosmetology. In the fifties and sixties, there is almost an instinctive yearning to recover one's long-lost youthful enthusiasm.
Taking years off of your biological age requires working with an experienced anti-aging physician in natural hormone replacement--based upon testing and the administration of physiologic doses of natural hormones to bring a person's hormone levels back up to where he or she was at ages 35 to 40.
Who thinks so little of life--or is so superstitious--that he or she would turn down a chance to have their body clocks turned back--even if only for a few years?
Remember, then, that the key to longevity is within everyone's reach. Your daily lifestyle choices exert a profound influence over your life span. The 120 years given by the Creator are yours to claim and enjoy.
One last thing to consider. The Bible says that "earth is the Lord's and everything in it." That means that "your" body belongs to God. He is letting you use it for a few years. Since it is not yours to destroy, you should take good care of it--it's not yours, anyway.
